Morton's Steakhouse

Lunch at Morton's Steakhouse

I just got back from Morton's Steakhouse where I had lunch with Craig and a friend of his. Apparently during the holiday season Morton's offers lunch. They have a planned meal on their menu, $25 for soup or salad, entrée, and desert. The selection is obviously limited, and in the case of desert there are only two options.

I started with a Caesar salad then prime rib and finally key lime pie for desert. We once again had Gina as our waitress who remembered us as well. For some reason Craig loves the still water for $9.25 a bottle so we had two of those.

We will be back Monday night for their anniversary where the bar is offering free sliders from 5-6PM.

Morton's Steakhouse and Eclat Chocolate's Wine Tasting

Last night a friend and I ventured to Morton's for a wine tasting event with pairings of chocolate provided by Éclat Chocolate of West Chester.

At  7PM we were shown to the private room of Morton's and after we got the pre-paid receipt we were handed a class of champagne. For the next 40 minutes or so delicious h'orderves were available until the hosts gave a short introduction to the event.

Wines:

Chocolates:

  • Champagne
  • "Rose Heart"
  • Mollybooker Shiraz
  • Traditional
  • Passion Fruit
  • Sichuan Pepper
I listed the chocolates in my order of preference but I'm in no way able to even compare the wines. All of the wines were delicious even though my friend didn't care for any of the reds and I was able to finish his glasses. Altogether, a great experience for only $35 and I will surely be looking out for the next event.
